a Restaurant Entrepreneur who has achieved great success by launching 6 Gastropubs. He is now part of a Global Hospitality chain as the Head of Food & Beverage.

Yadhaven Santheran started his professional life as a teacher of English. He soon realised this did your align with his entrepreneurship skills and disruptive creativity.
He finally took up the crucial step of quitting his job and decided to join the beverage industry at Raffles Hotel as a Bar Back, assisting in dishwashing and also lend his hand in chopping fruits. But he soon realised this was clearly offbeat in terms of doing what he really wanted to . He was in search of an opportunity that would not limit his creativity but act as a fuel to power his dreams.
After having Worked at a couple of dive bars for 5 years, His hardwork finally paid off when got the chance to work alongside a reputed Chef as a Bartender. He took up this role of a Bar manager and started gaining experience in this field. He also took part in various culinary competitions and bagged several awards.
Yadhaven Santheran notched up in his career as a Consultant for the Food & Beverage Industry and reputed Hotel Chains .
Having tried his hand at various lucrative projects, somewhere in his heart he felt that his skills and his ideas to explore the art of cooking was still at a slower pace and he needed to pump it up to a higher level.
No sooner did he find himself in this dilemma of searching for second chances and not exercising his skills to the fullest , he was rewarded with a jackpot that was to join Draper Startup House.
Little did he know that this step would be a turning point in his career and would brew brillant opportunities for him to showcase his talent and spin successful business under his name.
He is a living proof of how one can turn tables but perseverance and hard work.
Having Worked in this business and getting a jist od the uncertainties it poses, he describes life as a “restaurant” . You can have anything that you want as long as you are willing to pay a price. Founder of Draper Startup House, Vikram Bharti gave him the once in a lifetime opportunity to work alongside and gain valuable experience. He could also learn how to survive the cut throat competition that today’s world poses.

Managing monetary issues, handling failures,learning from then and devicing robust strategies to sustain in the industry wasn’t easy. But nothing good in life is ever easy.
